David Petersen is a comic book storywriter and illustrator from the United States. His contribution to Animal Fantasy, the Mouse Guard graphic novel series, was the winner of the 2008 Eisner Awards of "Best Publication for Kids" and "Best Graphic Album-Reprint" of the Year.
